Overview
This document will cover how to view Accounts that include Jobs. Since Jobs are specific projects there are several areas within Savance Enterprise to view these, their balances, and details. There is a complimentary document within the help section called Jobs, and Customer Invoicing by Jobs that may also be helpful to review.
Creating Jobs

The first method of creating a job in the Account Manager.

Search for the Account you would like to add a job too. Then select the Jobs tab.

Click the add button to add a Job to the Account.

Fill out the Job information.

Then click the Save button.

You can also streamline the process by having the “Prompt for non-existing Job” setting checked.

When this is checked you can type a job into the Job/Releases field on a quote then tab to the next field and the Add Job pop-up will show.

If you click yes the Jobs screen will open to allow you to edit any of the Job fields.

Assigning a Job to a Quote/Order

In order to assign a Job to a Quote/Order you will first need a Quote/Order open. And a customer selected.

Then click the
button to bring up the Job screen. You can follow the Create a Job section to learn more about this screen.
Viewing Jobs on Accounts
There are several ways to view Jobs that are on accounts in this next section we will cover how to do this.

Go to Accounts > Manage Accounts and search for an Account. On the overview, tab use the drop-down filter to view the Main Account balances and all Jobs and their balances.

From here you can select a specific Job to look at the overview of this Job.

The Overview tab will update showing all recent activity and AR aging balance for the specific Job.

Another way to view Jobs on Accounts is to go to Accounts > Manage Accounts > Jobs tabs.

Here you can just view the Job names, but not the activity of each job.
Viewing Job and Account Balances
In the scenario, you want to always include all JOB balances in the Main Accounts balances you can select ‘Include jobs not included in account balances’. NOTE: Once you select this for one account this setting will be configured for all accounts.
Generating Statements with Jobs
When it comes to generating statements at the end of the month you have the option to generate statements for accounts that include their jobs or generate statements for specific jobs only.
All Jobs Statements
To generate statements go to Accounting > Accounting Manager > Statements and choose from the following options:

For this example, I am going to select ‘All Jobs’ and select ‘Next’

Then choose the parameters based on your needs and select ‘Next’

The statements will begin generating for all accounts that have Jobs, if there are multiple jobs for a specific account these statements will appear separately for each job.
Customer and Job Specific Statements
In the scenario, you need to generate a statement for a specific customer and or a specific job. You will go to Accounting> Accounting Manager > Statements

Select ‘Customer by Name’ and search for the account(s)

Select the checkbox next to the customers you want to generate statements for. As you select the customers they will appear below.

If you want to run statements for specific jobs for this account expand the selection to view your jobs and main account.

Here you can cherrypick a specific job or everything to run a statement against and select ‘Next’.
